The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham is running an exhibition with the above title from 27 May to 18 September 2011 exploring the subject of tennis in art.
They are including Tennis Player, Percy’s three quarter length portrait [borrowed from Dudley Museun and Art Gallery] and Tennis, one of the best of his Thirties at Leisure compositions [borrowed from a private owner].
